So far so good

The amount of topspin for advanced setting is not usable but ball boy and intermediate ones are pretty decent for what I’m using it for: mainly working on a specific technique and exercise. The photo on the website is outdated. I actually received the updated version and the ball rarely stuck in the machine now which was one of the main cons of slinger. I really would love to have the new Proton ball machine if I have the budget but this cost less than half and also keeps everything together.

Nice ball launcher

It shoots with top-spin, and seems to vary the distance depending on the tennis ball's pressure. The remote control is nice, but only has start/oscillate. Too bad the remote doesn't adjust ball speed and feed frequency. The canvas covering looks good, but I lost one of the mounting screws for the rechargeable battery in the blue canvas covering. It fell off and disappeared into the recesses of the canvas cover. I would've favored a more stripped down design -- get rid of the carrying case. It should be a motorized ball launcher on wheels -- scrap the canvas and large compartment for storing the ball tube.
